Steeline Roofing Centre History
Our story starts back in the early 1950's, with Russell Jones Snr setting up a Plumbing Supplies business in the small rural town of Corowa. Following the birth of his 3 sons, Graham, Gavin & Trevor, and the success of the business, Russell and the boys saw the potential for growth in roofing & rainwater products.
So in 1986, Russell, with his sons and nephew Jim, set up The Roofing Centre in Albury/Wodonga. The Roofing Centre soon became one of the largest suppliers in the Southern Riverina, North East Victoria, Albury/Wodonga and Corowa districts for roofing products.
After the success of the Albury/Wodonga branch, the boys went on to set up 3 other branches; Shepparton in 1988, Wagga Wagga in 1993 and Bathurst in 1994.
The Steeline Roofing Centre now employs over 60 local people from 5 areas, and although we may have grown considerably over the years, our strong family attitude and friendly local service remains the same.
